The Popularity of Tuner Cars is the basis for this Blog Thanks for Visiting.

Now A tuner car, is what we call an import, which is a sporty, economical and a very practical car that is built for the purpose of daily usage, decent gas mileage and comfort, but has the potential of being a high performance car, which requires engine modifications. That’s what sets it apart from other High performance cars or sports cars, is that anyone can buy a tuner car and unleash its true potential.
Tuners differ from sports cars in many different areas such as price, engine displacement, horsepower and many other factors. They also differ from typical sedans or SUV import cars; they are lighter, faster and have better handling.

The Honda Accord 2008 is innovatively re-designed for the year 2008. It is available as a sedan or a coupe. The new Accord is bigger — so much so that the EPA classifies it as a large car, rather than a mid-size, based on interior room — and more powerful, with two four-cylinder engines and a V6. For performance buffs, the top-of-the-line EX-L coupe will offer a 6-speed manual transmission.
Power comes from a high-tech 3.5-litre V6 engine with around 200kW of power. In an Australian
first, it will be feature an advanced cylinder deactivation system.
The V6 engine can shut down certain cylinders allowing it run on just 4-cylinders or even 3-cylinders, which reduces fuel consumption and C02 emissions.
Honda calls the cylinder deactivation system VCM, or Variable Cylinder Management.
The engine will shut down cylinders when cruising on the highway, for example, where only a small amount of engine power is needed to maintain a constant speed. The car is expected to be equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The Accord emblem embodies a large portion of Honda’s global sales. Thus it can also be regarded as one of the most important vehicle in the Honda line.

The 2008 Honda Civic hybrid, a new powerful and efficient car model which has a 1.3-liter, 8-valve, i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a lightweight, high-output electric motor, which adds extra power when needed. A definite WOW factor and yes the Civic Hybrid is equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the CVT give the performance of a manual transmission with the comfort of an automatic transmission so it would seem that you are like driving two cars and an idle-stop feature automatically shuts off the Hybrid’s gasoline engine when you stop, so you save gas and help keep the air cleaner.
